Asmara – A number of TPLF soldiers continue to be victimized by the regime's sub national policies, according to seven soldiers who arrived in Eritrea recently.
The soldiers are Jemal Mohammed Jibriel, Yfa Wakini Ibsa and Tubo Debeli Muleta from Oromo ethnic group , Zinabu Robsa Beshir from Amhara ethnic group , Melkamu Akena Gebiso and Tedros Gebre Asefa from Sidama ethnic group, as well as Measho Hayelom Ftewi from Tigray ethnic group.
The soldiers stated that they were deceived into being recruited into the army and that in addition to being victims of various forms of atrocities at the hands of the regime, they have not received even a quarter of the promised salary.
